旅行是想找到另一個自己

朱平先生，是我很敬佩的人。

他讓我知道生活可以不一樣，他的文字讓我對未來總有著希望，
一直看著他的文章，ppaper business有他的專欄，每月他
都會發表一篇文章並且會出home assignment，讓讀者回應，
以及啟發想法，一直以來他的home assignment讓我有當初
在準備轉學考或大學時老師出申論題的感覺，我總是很想
按著鍵盤和朱平先生有互動。

只是常常膽怯作罷。

這一期的home assignment是關於都蘭旅行的回憶，恰巧四月
去了趟都蘭，所以對這次的專欄特別有感受，於是就在朱平先生
的部落格寫下home assignment，朱平先生在部落格上大多是
英文，在寫home assignment時我一度思考著要用英文還是中文；
後來仍自不量力的用英文，而久未使用的英文在本來程度就不佳的
情況下，寫出來的根本是2266，按出送出鍵時我一度想去撞牆，
但文章一按出去不復返...

Dear Mr.Chu,

I am read the ppaper BUSINESS，it’s very surprised to read you also like dulan.
I went to dulan on april，i live at都蘭小客棧(http://dulanfung.blogspot.com/)，
there is like home ， like a gather place，it’s simple life at this small place.
And i meet more different friend at there, everybody all have their special style,
and they all like dulan，i want call dulan is dream place.

That few days, i read a novel -蜜月祭 at dulan，this novel like dulan give me
strong feeling in my deep mind …

Actually, I don’t know how to express i like dulan use english, 
but i try it，write a half i want give up , but i tell myself if
 i give up, is loser.

I am like your assignment and your words, i learn more things 
at your column.

英文的問題不用朱先生說，我相當清楚，真的我自己要再努力..

You are not a loser. You just need to keep writing in English
and reading more English books or blogs.

to submit your home assignment. Everything I did or wrote
 is for those who are ready.
I never expect anyone to hand in Home Assignment. Once a while,
I will meet people like you here.

As you know, the essence of this blog is not what I wrote,
but the comments that we shared here.

Dulan is a dream place. Again, only for those few who are ready. 

We all left our heart in Dulan. This is why Dulan’s calling will
make our life more sensible. We know there is a place where I can
be myself and learn from many talented and gifted people there.
This longing will make our life in Taipei with a purpose.
Why we cannot make Taipei like Dulan within a specifice group 
of people.This is why I launched The Red Room project. 
Basically, I tried to duplicate the feeling I had at Dulan Sugar Factory Cafe.

Let’s engage the life, instead of escaping it. 
We can create our own reality.

I want to make a discosure here too. In the column on PPaper Busienss,
I clearly mentioned tht I am a land owner in Dulan. Therefore,
the fact that I promote dulan may sound like I am promoting 
my investment in Dulan.There is certain amount of conflict interest 
here. I admit humbly.
